Ned had been closing up for the night, still not quite used to actually working for someone else. At least the English were not so much for touching all of the time which kept him in a far more relaxed mood than he had been back in America. No one questioned the relationship between him and Chuck and their constant state of avoidance. He is also looking forward to getting the money now to get a place to live more permanently while he waits. Hotels were nice but an actual flat where he didn't have people going through the place while he was away would be far more preferable.

He still had manners however or assumed he was doing so as he hurried ahead of the other man to just get the door. "Best get in before it starts to rain, right?" He was not good at small talk. He was good with big talk or people that initiating the conversation with him, preferably involving a food order.
