Zuko grunted as Waver's foot dug under his side. He curled waiting for the other foot to trample him, but it seems whoever is tittering over him has better balance than that. Zuko silently thanks him. By now the din is really getting going. He looks up at Waver. It was bleeding guy. He looks like he wants to get the hell out of dodge and Zuko doesn't blame him one bit.
Zuko shouts to be heard over the drunk yelling, "I'm fine. We need to get out of here."
He got to his feet quickly, ignoring the small pieces of gravel imbedded in his skin, and points towards a 24 hour coffee shop's blinking "open" sign in the window. He hopes that's all the explanation needed as a cue to start running for cover.
