It's tempting. It's really, really tempting. She could probably mug someone, especially since she has a pistol hidden in her oversized jacket. Brits don't carry them, even their police. Pretty different than Colorado. But Clove can't bring herself to actually go through with it. She's not that hungry, not yet. So, instead, she stops just a few steps shy of where she started. The holster on her means that the gun doesn't show, especially not with the size of her jacket.

It's humiliating to say it, but she has to. She knows she does.

"Just wanted to know if you've got a couple of bucks. Even some change. Something to spare, y'know?"
