"Lord Coward," Evie inclines her head just slightly as she enters the room, coming around to his desk. She extends her hand towards him and repeats the name that his secretary had just announced, though she forgoes her official title of Dame. "Evie Frye." She'd heard of him- and undoubtedly he'd heard of her, too. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

Evie lets go of his hand and takes a seat. "I thought I should stop in and introduce myself, since I've only just returned to town." They had both been turned around the same time, from what she could recall. "Both as a Countess of the Nest, and as an ally." She knew very well he was the police commissioner, and she'd worked closely with Scotland Yard before, in the past. She and Inspector Abberline, the man assigned to the Jack the Ripper case, had been quite close, when she and Jacob were running the city.

Coming to speak with Coward and explaining what it was she did- if he didn't know, though she could only hope the Assassin ring on her finger gave that away- wasn't the first time she'd had this specific conversation. The police were valuable allies, and getting them to look the other way was no easy feat. But once achieved, infinitely useful.
