Potential CR Planning

Are you thinking about joining the game? Then you've found the right place! This post is for all prospective players to discuss their characters' AU backgrounds with canonmates and other characters, and to establish pre-existing CR (character relations). The aim is to help you figure out what to write in the background section of your application and to give you a starting point for building CR when you join the game.

You can use this post to:

• Share your ideas on how you'd like to adapt your character's background to the game.
• Ask questions and request feedback on your AU plans.
• Discuss potential shared history with canonmates and build in cross-canon CR.

Please note that nothing discussed here is guaranteed, since not all prospective players will submit an app or be accepted into the game, while others will app without having commented to this post. After the next round of applications have been processed, there will be a follow-up CR planning post for accepted players to confirm initial plans, make changes, and look for new CR.

This post is intended to be an open discussion between current and prospective players, but I'm happy to answer any mod questions you might have too. Happy planning!

...and because I was so totally enabled, I'm also considering apping this character here, an AU of Grell Sutcliffe from Black Butler.

In this AU, she's pure human, swept into the supernatural world in a bloody series of accidents, and a hunter originating from an order elsewhere in England that prioritizes eliminating threats within the supernatural community - a sort of watching force to protect the balance between humans and others. Transferred to London to chase down a particular problem, and ended up staying since it provides the order with information at the heart of the country and keeps her from causing too much trouble back home.

Very likely she'd be affiliated with Redbright or Hillingdon, and have to be kept in check lest she forget her order's rules come secondary to the rules in London. Highly dramatic, prone to gossiping, reckless behaviour when on the hunt, and prying into scandal, and with a nasty temper, especially when those she cares for are threatened.

At first I was unsure if I had read it right or not but then I expanded the comment and it isn't a fantasy? I had nothing to do with this I think but I'm so happy for this too?? I loooove the idea of Grell's place here and I'm so excited like I'm waiting with actual bated breathe for more news about this and everything.

Matthew and Grell need to meet up here sooner or later. Yes/Yes/Gravy?
