Potential CR Planning

Thinking of joining the Underground? Come tell us all about it. This post is for prospective players to discuss their characters' AU backgrounds with canonmates and other characters, and to establish pre-existing CR (character relations). The aim is to help you figure out what to write in the background section of your application and to give you a starting point for building CR when you join the game.

You can use this post to:

• Share your ideas on how you'd like to adapt your character's background to the game.
• Ask questions and request feedback on your AU plans.
• Discuss potential shared history with canonmates and build in cross-canon CR.

Please note that nothing discussed here is guaranteed, since not all prospective players will submit an app or be accepted into the game, while others will app without having commented to this post. After the next round of applications have been processed, there will be a follow-up CR planning post for accepted players to confirm initial plans, make changes, and look for new CR.

This post is intended to be an open discussion between current and prospective players, but I'm happy to answer any mod questions you might have too. Our next test drive is due to be posted tomorrow, Saturday 29th August, so look out for that!

Pleaaaase. Mab is totally welcomed in knowing almost all of Margaret's name too in return! She still had a middle name tucked away but hahaha Matthew is gonna feel like a dummy for not realising he shouldn't be handing out his kid's name like candy to people who use names as magic itself.

I definitely know it'll be good for Mab and questionable for Matthew so I'm a 100% in on this. I suspect he'll call her when he joins the game in hopes of learning more about stuff. Since Heiji knows about Ms. Sommertset identity and Heiji also visits Mattew's pub now and then, I think it'll only be a matter of time before Matthew brings her up and Heiji is all

'did you give her your full name or anything'

and Matthew is all 'what no she know margie's kind of'

and then Heiji is all 'oh my god.'

Yes! Yay! LOL poor guy. He's just not good with fae ladies, they walk all over him.

Sound good! No one has taken her card offer up yet so it'll be nice to get a phone call. If she can figure out how to answer it anyway.

Independent, sharp, classy ladies who know what they want like Lyra and Mab are his type when it comes to women what I mean shhh I said nothing.

Oh my gosh, I can just imagine Matthew waiting on the end of the line for a looong time, looking at Margie as she plays with her toys, 'Maybe this is a bad time' without realising that Mab is just trying to guess which of the phone buttons is the 'answer' button.

Surely Heiji will understand that Mab having 2/3 of a possible half-fae child's full name isn't going to end terribly. Surely.

Matthew is in so much trouble.

Yes, that is about what it'll be like. She tries to swipe down, swipe up, press the power button. It hangs up on him or sends him to voicemail and she freezes her phone for a moment in irritation.

Worth it.

Oh my gosh. Maybe one way for him to get on her good side is to explain to her how phones work and maybe he finds himself being roped into helping her with technology all the time? So she can blend in better?

Actually she would appreciate that. Because she's lost the player who was supposed to explain human things to her (T_T Malia) . She'll probably try to bulldoze her way into him taking her places and teaching her human things as well though if he gives her an inch. Fair warning :)
