Potential CR Planning

Hello! This post is for all prospective players to discuss their characters' AU backgrounds with canonmates and other characters, and to establish pre-existing CR (character relations). The aim is to help you figure out what to write in the background section of your application and to give you a starting point for building CR when you join the game.

You can use this post to:

• Share your ideas on how you'd like to adapt your character's background to the game.
• Ask questions and request feedback on your AU plans.
• Discuss potential shared history with canonmates and build in cross-canon CR.

Please note that nothing discussed here is guaranteed, since not all prospective players will submit an app or be accepted into the game, while others will app without having commented to this post. After the first application round, there will be a follow-up CR planning post for accepted players to confirm initial plans, make changes, and look for new CR.

:D He's definitely someone I want to play again (although I need a quick canon review).

I'm thinking I might, as the more I play with it, the more it seems to work. I"m thinking Sirius was more involved when he was younger, and then sort of drifted away as he got older and his ideas changed. I like the idea of them having history though. I think that could be really interesting.

I dunno how you can do a quick canon review through RvB, I always get so sucked in haha, but more power to you!!

How much younger? How long would he have been in jail?? Cause all of that can change around the twos history!

Well, if I'm using canon as a guideline for the AU, he probably would have started drifting away when he was around 16-17, and I'm thinking of having him in jail for less time than he was in canon (like 6 years instead of 12).

What were you thinking for Jack's history? That might help solidify some things.

Jack' proposed history is up in his journal, but basically it's he got involved in the magical realm 20 years ago when his daughter and wife vanished, then steadily made his way up the ranks in the clan. He's also a public figure, becoming a CEOs of a big tech company in that same time period. So idk how much they may have interacted?

Sorry for the late reply, I had a million things going on at once.

Looking at Jack's history and what I'm working with for Sirius, I think we could make them solid acquaintances, who are at least aware of each other. They've at least met.
