Potential CR Planning

Hello! This post is for all prospective players to discuss their characters' AU backgrounds with canonmates and other characters, and to establish pre-existing CR (character relations). The aim is to help you figure out what to write in the background section of your application and to give you a starting point for building CR when you join the game.

You can use this post to:

• Share your ideas on how you'd like to adapt your character's background to the game.
• Ask questions and request feedback on your AU plans.
• Discuss potential shared history with canonmates and build in cross-canon CR.

Please note that nothing discussed here is guaranteed, since not all prospective players will submit an app or be accepted into the game, while others will app without having commented to this post. After the first application round, there will be a follow-up CR planning post for accepted players to confirm initial plans, make changes, and look for new CR.

This post is intended to be an open discussion between prospective players, but I'm happy to answer any mod questions you might have too. Happy planning!

Am I late? I'm late. Welp!

She has like... 50% of her story written in her journal, though it will obviously be changed as hell to fit the game. Less death, more boarding schools. Otherwise!

age: 21
race: meta-human though I am also tempted to make her a simple human idk yet

personality: deadpan as hell. It's hard to tell whether she's making a terrible joke or being really... dickish. Doesn't know how to apologise properly and doesn't get why you'd tell people you care about them and like them (if you're hanging out, you probably like each other? duh??) - basically if someone she likes does something stupid she'll save them and call them an idiot. Crunchy assholish shell protecting a gooey soft centre, basically.

(Also spends way too much time on rooftops. Might be part bird who knows)

au history: grew up in Wigan, NWEngland. Parents decided to send her off to London to finish her education at Redbright so she could control her powers better. Resented the hell out of them for it, but ended up sucked into the Underground network anyway. That cost her the dream of becoming an athlete, but oh well. Now she works at the school - possibly involved with the Outreach segment idk.

cr plans: nothing massively specific, but she could always use drinking buddies, people who enjoy running around on rooftops, sparring partners.
People who might manage to annoy the hell out of her - sunshiney people, cocky flirts, anyone who can outrun her - are definitely welcome.

Potential drinking buddy right here!! He may also flirt with her a little from time to time and then when she gets mad he'll be like HAHA JUST KIDDING......

Clive is also a member of the outreach program so if Kate ends up there, it'd be a good way for them to meet!
