Potential CR Planning

Hello! This post is for all prospective players to discuss their characters' AU backgrounds with canonmates and other characters, and to establish pre-existing CR (character relations). The aim is to help you figure out what to write in the background section of your application and to give you a starting point for building CR when you join the game.

You can use this post to:

• Share your ideas on how you'd like to adapt your character's background to the game.
• Ask questions and request feedback on your AU plans.
• Discuss potential shared history with canonmates and build in cross-canon CR.

Please note that nothing discussed here is guaranteed, since not all prospective players will submit an app or be accepted into the game, while others will app without having commented to this post. After the first application round, there will be a follow-up CR planning post for accepted players to confirm initial plans, make changes, and look for new CR.

NAME: apollo justice
AGE: 22
SPECIES: meta-human (witch mother, human father)

BACKGROUND:

‣ born in los angeles, ca! he is an orphan and has no recollection of his parents
‣ apollo has the ability to perceive which basically means he can point out the lies and tensions in people. he sees these tics clearly in his head, like a magnifying glass
‣ around junior high, apollo decided to become a defense attorney.
‣ while in law school he realized he had a weird ability and extensive research went into supernatural stuff since then
‣ he passed the bar and took regular cases but by then he was pretty well researched into the underground and made arrangements for a job to redbright since that seems to be where all the knowledge is
‣ once hired, he moved! he keeps his day job as a defense attorney but if he grabs the intructor job at redbright, he'll be teaching supernatural laws (he's a busy ass man)

PERSONALITY:

apollo is short and probably reminds people of a chicken. unfortunately the personality you probably imagine from that isn't far off base— he's loud, critical, blunt, stubborn, and pretty much done with everyone and everything. on the upside, he's caring to people close to him, passionate, determined, understanding, and stern. he is generally polite to people he meets and tries very hard to keep up professionalism, but it rarely ever works out.

CR PLANS:

‣ apollo would have just moved to the UK so he will look like an idiot most of the time. i am all for people who either laugh at him or help him out
‣ you can take his class! he's often mistaken to be younger than he is so he probably won't get much respect at first. but when he gives someone a 0 for lying to him about a copied paper then things get Real
‣ any type of staff acquaintances, any at all
‣ if anyone is considering a castmate i will be more than happy to talk with you and change/update anything

‣ honestly anything is cool

Clara's granddaighter is in the institute and is around eighteen now. I can see her joining the class out of curiosity and be an excellent student since she'll find him interesting and, thus, be motivated to work hard. Because of that Clara may take note of him and try to help him out somehow if she sees him out of the class? There are things ghosts can do to help metahumans? Maybe?

Yay. I'm so excited for this. Fingers crossed because all the ghost guardian shenanigans are the best. Appearing to meet him to discuss her grades or her projects or something class. Maybe that can be how they meet even? Whatever floats your boat. \ o /
