Potential CR Planning
Hello! This post is for all prospective players to discuss their characters' AU backgrounds with canonmates and other characters, and to establish pre-existing CR (character relations). The aim is to help you figure out what to write in the background section of your application and to give you a starting point for building CR when you join the game.You can use this post to:
• Share your ideas on how you'd like to adapt your character's background to the game.
• Ask questions and request feedback on your AU plans.
• Discuss potential shared history with canonmates and build in cross-canon CR.
Please note that nothing discussed here is guaranteed, since not all prospective players will submit an app or be accepted into the game, while others will app without having commented to this post. After the first application round, there will be a follow-up CR planning post for accepted players to confirm initial plans, make changes, and look for new CR.
This post is intended to be an open discussion between prospective players, but I'm happy to answer any mod questions you might have too. Happy planning!
Hattori Heiji | Detective Conan
AGE: 200ish
BACKGROUND: Heiji is a friendly kitsune (fox spirit) from Osaka, Japan who speaks excellent English. He's about 200 years old and recently arrived in London mostly in the hopes that he'd broaden his horizons and stay out of trouble. I'm thinking of putting him either in the Seelie Court or the Redbright Institute as a teacher.
PERSONALITY: Heiji is an easygoing, chatty young fox spirit who can take or leave humanity as a whole but looooves detective novels. He fancies himself the next Philip J. Marlowe or Hercule Poirot... if only the fae had need of someone to solve their homicide cases :C. Insatiably curious, mischievous, and friendly, Heiji is a newcomer to London and will talk your ear off about his hometown.
Aside from murder mysteries, he loves swords, motorcycles, baseball, and sightseeing. Heiji is very physically affectionate, and while he can be impulsive, he's also keenly intelligent. Why does a Japanese ghost fox know about American criminal law? /kanyeshrug, because it's there
LOOKING FOR:
* Friends, people to hang with. Heiji doesn't really seek out beefs with people. He especially likes people to nerd out with mysteries with, people who can cook, and people who will listen to him go on and on about whatever.
* Friends with benefits? Possibly. Foxes tend to be flirtacious, but Heiji tends to get jealous with serious relationships, so.
* People who will put up with his nonsense
* Detectives? idk, anything else also.
